For the past 2+ years, I've been what I never thought I'd be...crafty. I never considered myself crafty before I had kids, but as soon as my son hit 6 months, and I started to get more sleep, BAM! I had this crazy desire to make things.
I taught my
self how to knit. Then I bought a sewing machine and taught myself how to sew. And I've been addicted to these two hobbies ever since. I wouldn't say I'm great at knitting and sewing, but I'd say I'm good enough. I'm only making things for my kids and seeing them sporting a homemade knit hat or squeezing a homemade pillow makes me really, really happy!

I love to read other craft blogs and I thought it might be fun to create my own. I'm having fun and not making everything perfect all the time (my inner perfectionist is turned off with these hobbies. I would seriously drive myself crazy otherwise!).
My kids are my inspiration! So...here we go!
