Scrappy Pincushion Log for Sewing Machines

I created this pincushion out of scraps from a current quilt-in-progress and wanted to see some life in these pieces right away.

I wanted a pincushion that would be easily accessible, but out of my children's reach (and boy, do they have long reaches).
Putting the pincushion on top of my sewing machine seemed to be the best answer. Right now, it's not attached. But I am thinking about putting a little Velcro on it to keep it secured.
So there you have it! My Scrappy Pincushion Log for Sewing Machines!
An All This for Them original! If you use my idea, please come back and tell me about it. :)
