Glimpse into Motherhood...Baby Got a Cast

I've enjoyed linking up with Simply Modern Mom's Glimpse Into Motherhood, and thought I'd link up again this week because it's been an oh-so-dare-devilish week.

My little girl broke her arm scaling the stroller and then 

pushing it over. Here she is dressed up for church.

 And now look. Here she is helping to unload the dishes. (Her choice, really!)

Now, in which picture do you think she looks happier? 

And, is this a little odd to you too??

Right. I'm never this happy unloading the dishwasher! I'm glad it made her smile though. 

(Smiles were few and far between for a while...)

Glimpse into Motherhood...

...Or maybe this should be a Glimpse into Fatherhood! No, really, it was such a sweet moment and I'm glad I had my camera handy. My daughter adores her daddy and she tries to squeeze in hugs with him whenever she can. (And yes, I do believe he's cooking in this picture. Good man.)

Glimpse into Motherhood

I was sitting at my computer, doing a quick check--really!--of my email, and perhaps clicking on some sewing/crafting sights, when I looked to my left and saw my little girl doing this.

So I saw an opportunity and reached for my camera.

Then she did this... 

 

 And this too...!

And then this! 

Oh my goodness! (When she started reaching for the needle, I was glad the machine was unplugged.) Funny girl!!
